Round Table

Awnless Triticale

  • Boot stage silage, mid April harvest
  • High protein, high palatability
  • Heavy, late tillering, high yielding
  • Well suited for hay

With excellent research and superior genetics, TriCal® has taken winter cereal production to a whole new level. Roundtable is a blend of three awnless varieties with different maturities. All three of these varieties are top producers and have excellent nutritional characteristics. When a grower needs a winter cereal crop with a wide harvest window, superior standability, and vigorous early growth, Round Table is the best option. Round Table has the ability to make high quality silage and also can be harvested for hay. The harvest period for silage and hay starts in the middle of April and extends well into late May. Quality, production, and versatility make this blend an excellent option for Central California growers.
