Is it dead?

Chaotic winter weather can wreak havoc on your winter forage. In most cases, as long as the bottom portion of the tiller is still healthy the crop will still survive. If the plant is exposed to this type of freeze incident after the jointing stage? It is more likely that this crop would not survive. In all these examples the crop is still in the vegetative stage.
